Curriculum
At Hale we provide a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum that is rich in experiences and opportunities for children to extend their skills of enquiry. Our curriculum embraces the community in which it is situated, recognising local history, heritage, geographical and, most importantly, the aspirations of all our children. We place strong emphasis on the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all our pupils. Teachers use our wonderful local surroundings to support and inform children’s learning.
Throughout the school a creative and active approach to learning is pursued wherever possible, enhanced by opportunities to learn through real and first hand experiences. We take the opportunity to enrich the curriculum by inviting visitors into school and by arranging trips to a variety of venues to support learning.
