Houses

When children start at Hale they are allocated a House Team which they stay in for throughout their time at Hale. House points are awarded to the children for positive behaviour in the form of a token. 

The tokens are collected from classes weekly by house team captains and counted. Totals are announced in Celebration assembly and the winning team is awarded a cup which is displayed in school.

Collected tokens are also accumulated and displayed throughout the weeks. Each half term house captains can exchange their accumulated tokens for different rewards. 

 

Our house names are chosen to reflect birds found in our local area:

• Buzzards
• Robins
• Owls
• Woodpeckers
